Agreement

By using Renaissance Pup (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Renaissance Pup transforms photos of your pets (and their humans) into Renaissance-style oil portraits using artificial intelligence. The App requires Sign in with Apple and an active internet connection.

Accounts

• You must sign in with Apple to use the App
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• One account per person

Credits and Purchases

• New users receive 2 free credits upon first use
• Additional credits can be purchased in packs (10, 25, or 50 credits)
• Each portrait generation consumes 1 credit
• Credits are non-refundable once purchased
• Credits do not expire
• All purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms

Generated Content

• Portraits are generated by Google’s Gemini AI model
• Results may vary and are not guaranteed to match specific expectations
• All generated images contain Google’s invisible SynthID watermark for AI provenance
• You may use your generated portraits for personal, non-commercial purposes
• We do not claim ownership of your input photos or generated portraits

Free Tier

• Free users receive a visible “Renaissance Pup” watermark on generated portraits
• Purchasing any credit pack removes the watermark from all future generations

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the App
• Submit photos that contain inappropriate or offensive content
• Attempt to circumvent credit or payment systems

Disclaimers

• The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• AI-generated results are inherently variable and may occasionally produce unexpected outputs
• We are not responsible for any issues arising from third-party services (Google, Apple, Supabase)

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renaissance Pup and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
