Overview

Renaissance Pup (“the App”) transforms your dog photos into Renaissance-style oil portraits. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive:

• Your email address (or an Apple-generated relay address if you choose to hide your email)
• A unique user identifier

We do not receive your name, phone number, or Apple ID password.

Photos

When you use the App to generate a portrait, your dog photo is:

• Sent to Google’s Gemini API for image processing
• Not stored on our servers after processing is complete
• Generated output images are stored securely in your account for you to access

Purchase Information

When you buy credit packs, Apple handles all payment processing. We receive:

• A transaction receipt confirming your purchase
• The product purchased and credit amount

We do not receive or store your payment method, credit card number, or billing address.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage data including:

• Number of portraits generated
• Credit balance

We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

How We Use Your Information

• Photos: Solely to generate Renaissance-style portraits via Google’s Gemini API
• Account info: To maintain your account, credits, and gallery
• Purchase info: To verify purchases and add credits to your account

Third-Party Services

Google Gemini API

Your dog photos are sent to Google’s Gemini API for image transformation. Google’s privacy policy applies to their processing of this data and Google provides the same or equal protection of your personal data as described in this policy. Google does not retain your photos after processing is complete. Google may apply an invisible SynthID watermark to generated images for AI provenance tracking.

Apple Sign In & StoreKit

Authentication and payments are handled by Apple. Apple’s privacy policy governs their handling of your sign-in and payment data.

Supabase

We use Supabase for secure data storage and authentication. Your data is stored in Supabase’s cloud infrastructure.

Data Retention

• Account data: Retained as long as your account is active
• Generated portraits: Stored indefinitely in your account
• Input photos: Not retained after processing

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. Upon request, we will delete your account, generated images, and all personal data within 30 days.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
